What each country guide covers

Open any country's guide to learn:

  • The right document type - CV versus resume, and what locals call it.
  • Photo rules - where photos are expected and where they are banned.
  • Date formats - DD/MM/YYYY, MM/YYYY, or another local style.
  • Page conventions - one page, two pages, or more.
  • Required and banned details - national IDs, date of birth, marital status.

Adjust date format in the builder

If you build a resume yourself, set the correct date format in the Contact step. The builder stores this setting and applies it everywhere dates appear.

When applying abroad, read the country guide first. Small details, like a photo or a date format, can be the difference between an interview and a rejection.
